About Mengxi

Short Bio:

Mengxi Seeley is a 1.5 generation immigrant born in China and raised in Utah. She earned an MA in East Asian Studies from Stanford University and a BA in international relations from Brigham Young University. After studying history and culture in grad school, then working for years as an academic translator, she dreams of writing stories with magic and fantastically happy endings.

Some of her published translations can be found in the journal Chinese Studies in History. Mengxi lives in Virginia with two little princesses and an absent-minded history professor.
